Thanks for the enlightenment. Checked it again, it's the Bluebird SSS, like new and 2 owners, all the paperwork etc, low kms. Bit like buying art I guess.

The $55,000 has 2 doors and an 1800 engine. Maybe came from Japan as an import later in it's life, I'm not an expert in these things.

I've had 3 of these. They're called Datsun 1600's here. Great handling cars. Used for rallying. I recently saw one for sale here for $35,000..... and it SOLD. Just checked and there's one listed for...
