The funny thing about an Emergency AD is the FAA has 90 days to decide if they are going to issue it, and what it’s scope is.

The chain plate “Thing” is real but it’s an easy fix, and if fixed right, it’s never a problem again.

A leaking water tank can be annoying, but a broken chain plate can lead to a dismasting, I’d worry about the IP’s chainplates myself more than the water tank
