Oh, and there was no 3/4" flange that I've come to understand should have existed.

I'm an idiot. The flange came off with the starter. Better eyes when off the boat, I suppose.

Fresh off the hard and the solenoid crapped out. Perkins 4-108 with infamous OEM starter, on a 40' 1984 DuFour GibSea.
