Is it the worst possible moment because you waited too long to reef because you needed to wake the off watch? All systems have trade-offs and there is no obvious choice as to cockpit vs mast...

We have everything needed for the first reef led to the cockpit, as well as the 2nd/3rd reef clew lines, with lazy jacks. I really like being able to put in and take out the 1st reef from the comfort...
