We tried to reef the sail downwind in those conditions and just couldn't get it to reef. Once the leading edge of the sail got to touching the mast the resistance was too much. It was tough... |

Can't agree with this one. Say you are sailing downwind at night. The winds start picking up, the boat speed picks up, all is fine. The seas pick up and you start surfing. You decide it is time to... |
