Rod, that price for the 20a dc/dc converter is terrible. My two 10a units cost about $18/ea as I recall. Kelly sells a 35a unit for $129.

Having an electric boat puts things in a different perspective. When your 12v house loads come from a 48v, 60v, 72v, whatever size series bank, via a DC/DC converter, it doesn't matter if you lose...
