ahh.. That very well could be it. while the boat currently has no spinnaker or any running rigging for one there is a track on deck that i think is exactly inline with it. Wil need to look next...

Here is a picture of if and exactly where it is. Can't really see it being useful for tying anything to the deck or attaching much of anything. However it does LOOK good there.

I pulled it out this afternoon(in the process of repainting the decks and rebedding all the hardware) and am going to see if I can drill through and through bolt it to make it...

Purpose of padeyes on bow

I have a 38' horstman trimaran (more of a cruiser than a racer), on each of the amas at the bow are two padeyes that look basically like the one below. I thought maybe it was for attaching a bridle...
