Re: Pulled the trigger on 4 x 100w flexible panels and a Morningstar TS-MPPT-60

The problem is some fool marked this as delivered, and it wasn't.

I work with computers for a living. Just because the computer says it was delivered does not mean it was delivered. If they...

Re: Pulled the trigger on 4 x 100w flexible panels and a Morningstar TS-MPPT-60

You are wrong on so many levels. I agree with you about being a moron now.

1) My address was correct. I have over 500 feedbacks as buyer and seller, and I've never had an issue before. I get...

Re: Pulled the trigger on 4 x 100w flexible panels and a Morningstar TS-MPPT-60

Call yourself what you like. I would never buy from somebody who ripped off another forum member. Who knows how many other negative feedbacks they've received and had wiped out using their game? ...

Re: Pulled the trigger on 4 x 100w flexible panels and a Morningstar TS-MPPT-60

I guess I forgot to post here, but I let it go.

Anyone who buys anything from podiumline1226 is a moron. What pisses me off the most is not only am I out ~$120, but I can't even leave negative...

Re: Pulled the trigger on 4 x 100w flexible panels and a Morningstar TS-MPPT-60

Like the disney song goes... Let it go... let it go... I got bigger fish to fry. Still need to find a replacement for my wires... a non-ebay replacement.

Re: Pulled the trigger on 4 x 100w flexible panels and a Morningstar TS-MPPT-60

Well, got the phone number and city for podiumline1226, left a message, I guess I'll be contacting the Manassas PD in VA if I continue to be ignored.

And I still need to find another vendor to buy...

Re: Pulled the trigger on 4 x 100w flexible panels and a Morningstar TS-MPPT-60

Anybody have any idea how much 4 25' solar cables from these guys weigh? I have no idea how big the box is, how much it weighs, no info from the seller.

He won't take messages from me, but if...

Re: Pulled the trigger on 4 x 100w flexible panels and a Morningstar TS-MPPT-60

Thanks socaldmax but I don't think that will help. The mailman comes at different times, he's usually here by 10:30am-11am, but sometimes he doesn't get here until the afternoon. Sometimes one...

Re: Pulled the trigger on 4 x 100w flexible panels and a Morningstar TS-MPPT-60

Got a call from the USPS. They said our regular carrier, who I guess "delivered" the "package" is not working today, so I won't get an update until Monday.

Re: Pulled the trigger on 4 x 100w flexible panels and a Morningstar TS-MPPT-60

So I left a note for my postman, and a different postman saw it (I wasn't home but checked the video).

He wrote to call the local USPS and left a number. So I called and talked to them, and...

Re: Pulled the trigger on 4 x 100w flexible panels and a Morningstar TS-MPPT-60

I've got a camera on the front porch. Not because I have problems with theft, but to deal with solicitors, that way I can ignore them without disrupting my work. I started recording when we listed...

Re: Pulled the trigger on 4 x 100w flexible panels and a Morningstar TS-MPPT-60

Most businesses when you say, "Hey I have a problem" They say "How can we help?" Not just totally ignore you.

Re: Pulled the trigger on 4 x 100w flexible panels and a Morningstar TS-MPPT-60

I bought something, they failed to delivered it. I don't care if the USPS says they delivered it, they didn't, and I have video proof.

I'm sorry, but customer service does not stop at "we...

Re: Pulled the trigger on 4 x 100w flexible panels and a Morningstar TS-MPPT-60

Re: Pulled the trigger on 4 x 100w flexible panels and a Morningstar TS-MPPT-60

What a bunch of drama. After waiting and waiting for the MPPT to arrive, it never did, so I contact the seller, and start googling the person. I find all these negative reviews on websites like...

Re: Pulled the trigger on 4 x 100w flexible panels and a Morningstar TS-MPPT-60

Is the best way to wire them port and starboard each in series and then parallel them below?

Based on my earlier testing I'm guessing I should run them fore & aft, that way if the boom shades one...

Re: Pulled the trigger on 4 x 100w flexible panels and a Morningstar TS-MPPT-60

I tried to look up the...

Re: Pulled the trigger on 4 x 100w flexible panels and a Morningstar TS-MPPT-60

I went out at 1pm and uncovered the panel and did some tests. Unfortunately, it's overcast, so I was only getting about 50% power from the panels (about 2.5-3 amps)

I experimented with shading...

Re: Pulled the trigger on 4 x 100w flexible panels and a Morningstar TS-MPPT-60

The sun is pretty low today, I've unboxed all the panels. They were packed very well, but one of them still has a dimple in it, I'm going to have to contact the seller about it.

I'm testing the...

Re: Pulled the trigger on 4 x 100w flexible panels and a Morningstar TS-MPPT-60

They arrived yesterday, took 1 day to arrive.

Mine have a connector on a short pigtail coming off the diode box, and then another short piece of wire with a connector on it. I'll have to figure...

Re: Pulled the trigger on 4 x 100w flexible panels and a Morningstar TS-MPPT-60

Well if they fall apart I'll be sure to post it, but warranty's are a big hassle most of the time. I don't see them as having any moving parts to fail, the main concern would be delamination ie they...

Re: Pulled the trigger on 4 x 100w flexible panels and a Morningstar TS-MPPT-60

How did you discover the copper quality? Did it react that way when you put the soldering iron to it?

Any tips for removing or rebedding the diode box?

My intention is to install them on the...
