USB can be difficult. Windows stores a history in the registry. Plugging devices into different USB ports can bolux up the system. Try USB View

Using the Hdmi cable is a clever idea, sorry it downgraded the image. I finally got what you are trying to do



I believe it is the USB port speed that is throttling the data...
