Got some problems shifting back to neutral, or sometimes shifting give me a cranking noise like gear noise...any idea ?

Happen to me a few times on my Lagoon 470 with SD40...I fix the problem installing a threaded shaft with two locking nuts to lock the big nuts in place....

A friend lost a rudder on is lagoon 42 TPI and need a replacement part used or new...
Any idea where i can find one ? The boat is in Namibia he was starting is atlantic crossing.
