Here is an idea for you, design a trash compactor, hand powered some kind of receptacle with a lever ram which can be used to compact paper, cardboard etc in some sort of bag in a receptacle, 10-15...

You may have done so already, if not post a notice on the marina's bulletin board. Ask around if there are any sailing clubs nearby maybe some member would help. Last resort, get some good sailing...

I like to spray at night when they come out of hiding and get on the web, if the can sprays don't get them there is a product called SUSPEND, it is mixed with water and really works well for spiders...
