approached by unknown vessels. Two megas had to take some form of evasive action. Could have been fishing boats, but the consensus was that they were not.

Recently read an article about mercenaries (South African as I recall) on board a merchant ship in this area. A couple of shots across the bows of the approaching pirate skiff stopped the attack, but...

I'm in VA, where it's likely to only be a nasty storm with high winds, but I'm hauled for painting anyway, so I just stripped off the sails and canvas to be safe.
