What does everyone have as a bearing at the top of the rudder? I just have a couple of pieces of teflon with a hole cut in the middle and I am thinking of replacing it.

Just re pitched the max prop to 22 degrees. I'll see Wednesday how the results are. Previously it was at 18 and seemed to be governing out.

Just took mine out and had a max RPM of 2900-3000. Guess I need to set a coarser pitch? I have a max prop that I set up myself, no surprise if it isn't right.

Fortunately mine has an uncored hull. The topside is though, my spring project will be to redo the cockpit sole, it's fairly springy around where the rudder access hole is.

For sure! I love the engine compartment, I would love to see the boat in person. You should think about coming north for your shakedown cruise, there will be beer waiting for you.

How are everyone's boats doing. I have yet to get the headliner in, now that I can sail it my productivity has gone way down. Just pulled out for some rudder repairs, actually wound up completely...

Pitt river marina is cheap. Is 900 a month for one of their sheds? You may be able to build your own shed and then go by the square footage of the shed. As far as amenities go shelter island is good...
