Through significant discussion with Tello they have confirmed they can not support 2FA internationally and that includes no texts at all through their wifi app designed to used internationally.

1. somehow the other day going in that same way i got a person after telling the bot i needed an agent. their support hours are 10am-5:30pm (Eastern)

i think that some older numbers still work and sometimes a new number will work with some banks but in general for new subscribers VOIP numbers don't work.

TextNow phone number was rejected by bank so not a option either.

Twilio was pretty easy to set up and getting the twilio system to forward the text message to my non us number was also pretty easy but in the words from Twilio:

ok thank you. the most important is if you don't pay is how frequently you use it. keeping the number consistent seems important to me.

I just had a text chat with textnow and they said that they could not receive a text from a US bank to me internationally. now even more confused.
