Re: Watermaker Owners: What's your TDS/ppm????

Our system, based upon CruiseRO (actually half the parts are from them), gave us about 170ppm between Ensenada and Mazatlan. Up in Canada we were seeing under 50ppm (a lot of fresh water in...

Re: Help! Clevis pin size difference.

I talked to a former rigger today, and looked at some more detailed pictures of the tang, and I think that I will go up the mast tomorrow and try to remove the tangs. If all goes well, I will take...

Hi,

I am in the middle of re-rigging my Whitby 42 with sta-lok fittings. My cap-shrouds have 3/8 wire. The new sta-lok fork has a 5/8 pin. When I went to install the new shroud, I found out...

Re: Losing coolant

I agree that the heat exchanger sounds like the culprit. The thing that confuses me is that it has only shown up when the engine is cold and has been sitting for days (it has only happened twice). ...

Re: engine dies after 2 hour run

I am by no means an expert, but here is my 2 cents.

When this happens you may want to try bleeding the engine. It is generally a very simple procedure. If it is an air issue as others have...
