Re: Do you have a Loose Foot?

Loose footed main on my Gulfstar 37. Replaced the main a number of years ago, still learning how to trim the sail but I do like the loose footed main.

Re: Fuel feed pump issue OR not?

I had a fuel leak from my lift pump so replaced it with a new one. Biggest issue was getting access. Cut a access under my chart table. All is good now. 107247107248107249

Mast Wrap

On my Gulfstar 37 the mast is keel stepped. I have been on other boats that have the interior portion of the mast covered or wrap. Are there any recommendations for what to use?

I also have a older Hood system on a Gulfstar 37 - I release the wind and roll up by hand. No problem for many many years of sailing.

Re: Perkins 4108 injectors

Thanks Tom. Sounds like I should get a Mechanic to look at mine. Certainly over 1K hours. I have owned this boat since the late 80's.

Any recommendation in the New Bern, NC area?

Replace ours with Ultrasuede, zipper for easy removal. Blood cleans up with water and a soft cloth. Been on the boat for 5+ years. Weekend warrior.
