I know a couple who had a Cat for 12yrs ... then bought a mono and 4 months later put it up for sale. Its whats comfortable for the individual.

Thank you for your replys ... we ended up meeting fellow cruisers with experience with wooden masts and they are currently helping to get the job done right. We plan on selling the boat soon after...
