Re: Yamaha Outboard Parts Supplier

I learned yesterday that they sold the EXACT SAME 9.9 2 stroke model from 1996 to 2010! One model! No changes!!! Wow.
Many of the US and Japan changes are to meet emissions standards.

Re: Does anyone remember that arrogant kid who built his aluminum multi that was dest

Re: Does anyone remember that arrogant kid who built his aluminum multi that was dest

Does anyone remember that arrogant kid who built his aluminum multi that was destroye

He was on here 4-5-6 years ago bragging and bragging about how he was going to win the Transpac or circumnavigate in the multi with a big X made of tubing and the thing broke up in no time and he had...

Re: USA Expat-a Good Place to Go?

There's no good reason not to sail south. You'll love it here, I promise. Sail here in the winter, leave your boat up in the sea or in Bahia Banderas where it's safe from hurricanes and cruise the...

Re: 53 foot Cat breaks in half

And think of the designer's position. You designed a series of revolutionary boats more than a quarter century ago and you made a little money. Now that some of the boats that were built have lost a...

Re: 53 foot Cat breaks in half

Wow. So a one-off hull(s) built by somebody who probably had never built a catamaran before, even if it was a yard that built it, made of hardware store quality materials and then fitted with a...

Weird Question- Swinger Propositions

So we're having drinks in the cockpit the other evening on a boat down the dock with another couple, in their early 50's, quite normal, average good looking people and they turned the conversation...

Re: Your Opinion - Best Dinghy?

We traded our 2nd delaminated PVC Zodiac (that we bought new) and some labor for a Hypalon Zodiac RIB. Seemed like a good idea at the time. We're doing our 3rd round of re-gluing now. I'm really...

Re: Abandon living aboard

Happens all the time. My in-laws spent 140K on a really nice boat. Left the slip 3 times in a year while they lived aboard in the tropics. It's for sale.

Re: Forum Member's boat and daughter in trouble off of Mexico

I'm happy to note that nearly all of the super negative comments on the blog and news sites contain poor spelling and horrible punctuation.

Re: Forum Member's boat and daughter in trouble off of Mexico
