oh yeah! there is a huge gap between the 'flip up glass door" and the freezer unit itself. and thats where the ice builds up. i wonder if putting a small thermal blanket over the whole freezer box...

See the thing is, there could be brown outs and power surges and electrical malfunctions if I am there or not there. If it is going to happen, it will happen regardless of where I am....
