Greetings, I'm interested in buying an 89 jeanneau sunkiss 47. I read that not all were built with kevlar. How can I know that this one has kevlar ? And how and where it was used ? Much appreciated.

I did Curaçao to windward passage, Ile a vache, in 4 nights 5 days on my Dufour 50 with one reef and full genoa. One tack. Never saw a boat or ship or plane, Went like a freight train. Lots of fun....

Decent weather for coming in actually. One has to remember strong tide in Juan de Fuca straight and Race narrows coming around to Victoria without a motor is not easy. What worries me is the frayed...

I was just asking myself why she was not using the spinnaker halyard to "top off". Also, I guess she does not have a winch on the mast or near it to switch ends to winch up?

One question.
Does anyone communicate with Jeanne through HAM and the NET, I mean is it possible to use a web browser to talk (verbally) to her on HAM SSB ?
