Hi CarCode, thanks for replying.

Been there, done that. There is absolutely no mention about getting the GPSD to work, or there is an assumption that GPSD is working. I think this was also written...

I just got my Moitessier HAT and I simply cannot get the GPS to work. To be honest I'm an RPi newbie and there is all sorts of stuff I do not understand. But it seems that it is an issue with GPSD....

I just got my Moitessier HAT and I simply cannot get the GPS to work. To be honest I'm an RPi newbie and there is all sorts of stuff I do not understand. But it seems that it is an issue with GPSD....

No it can't, but what is weird is that I can VNC to the RPi from the Surface Pro.

Just checked that I can ping the desktop from the RPi

Perhaps one of you can help me. I'm going nuts. I just cannot get my Microsoft Surface Pro to read the GPS info from the RPi over wifi using the RPi as a wireless AP. I used the OpenPlotter NOOBS...

Hhmmm. I see that I may take my laptop home to plot a route with my wife and then when I get onto the boat I want to sync the route with the RPi. Given that I do not share the same network at home...
