I also own a Cal 39 1979. she is old but I love this boat. I have completed many projects on her including;
1) new traveler
2) rebuilt transmission (2021)
3) lighting
4) new ceiling

I recently removed the mainsail to have it cleaned. I took off all the slugs and now notice that I have 12 smaller slugs and 2 larger one. anyone know the order the need to go back on???

any ideas on how the pull out bed system works? It is a pull out slatted bed with no supports to hold it up.

Anyone out there have info on how to replace/repair fixed ports on a Cal 39? I have removed the starboard port window over galley but all exterior frame pieces broke.
