I have older Elan 45 and have no problem sailing it on my own. It is in-mast furling so that may make it a bit easier, but generally speaking it isn't that complicated apart from maybe med mooring if... |

Mine does the same. I was thinking to replace the furling line in a hope that a newer, softer rope will have a better grip to the drum, but not sure it would help. Curious if someone has a solution. |

Happens in Greece on a daily basis :). One point not mentioned above - in case you catch an anchor of a med moored boat her chain is usually pulled very tight to keep her off the wall of the pier.... |
