Thanks mate, had a customer on one of those bush blocks outside Gympie. Built his own boat there too.

24' cold moulded plywood boat currently stored on a trailer under a tarp. Today I started investigating some dry rot inside. Turns out it's extensive in the midsection.

Did you get a reply to this? There is a flat circlip on the top with little indentations on eaacg end to spread and lift the circlip out of the groove. A fine screwdriver can be used but take care...

I'm refitting my toe rails which are a blackened aluminium and it seems a pity to not colour match with blackened through bolts. I'd like to do the same with the main and headsail tracks.

It's a BMW diesel. The boat is from 1983 I believe. Anyway from your description it's a LH prop. The shaft doesn't look offset but I haven't seen the boat on the hard...
