Help identifying hatch brand please?

Hi, I'm hoping someone might be able to ID the brand of the deck hatch. No name or references anywhere but the handle has a logo. Cheers

Goiot uses the seagull logo and they've been in the hatch-business for a long time.

Have a couple of drinks before you look up replacement part prices! I'm used to marine prices but they are nuts.

I need a new gasket for a Bowmar portlight. They want $12.00 per foot for the material and it will take three feet. They don't even sell it pre cut and pre formed, just a rubber strip.

To right. That's why I'm going to get the acrylic panel cut locally and replace myself. I wanted new handles also but the price included a new boat which I don't need...

I wanted gaskets for a storm window that needed replacing. The glazier laughed at me. They use silicone sealer - maybe on both sides, if they really want to keep the water out. Gasket material, even if you are able to find something that matches the original, will inevitably get nicked, or fold, or dry out and crack, and leak.

You can't use silicone sealer on something that needs to be opened and closed.

That would be great if I could find the exact size and style. I don't see anything just like it but I would have to pull out the old gasket to try to match it up.

I doubt Bomar actually manufactures their own gasket material but they probably have it made just for them.

The glazier was talking about using silicone to seal the plexi in the hatch frame, not to seal the hatch shut...
