Forgot to mention... for the past three years, I have been cruising on a small catamaran... a 30' EndeavourCat. I bought her in Annapolis, brought her to Florida, cruised to to Georgetown, Exumas...

The start/stop switch on my entec generator has broken. I would buy just the switch, but I doubt that one is available. Therefore, I am looking for the entire panel. Contact David through this...

Might be interested. I seem to fit the qualifications... mature - age 61. 40 years sailing small boats including 3 year (2004-2007) Atlantic circle on my 32-footer (eastbound single handed).

Wish I could make the trip. As an American who has sailed Cuba twice (so far), I think an American could make the trip. They would just have to use some common sense about re-entering the U.S.

I've made several trips to and through the Bahamas. Draft is a major consideration... 4' is better than 5'.
The 33' Morgan O/I or the shallow draft 30' Catalina would be pleasant accomodations. ...

Can anyone recommend a reasonable boat yard in the Bradenton-Sarasota-Tampa Bay area? I have used the one in Ruskin but I understand they no longer exist. No one seems to allow do-it-yourself...
