I would imagine that the BMS or possibly another device has a set of parameters for the warning.

Such as high voltage disconnect maybe set at say 15v by the BMS but you get the warning at 14.7
...

I certainly agree this is a strange requirement.

Nonetheless this is what insurance want to see.

I can't find a BMS that had that feature.

The Australian standards are calling for a warning prior to BMS disconnect.

This is to be a light and loud buzzer so would needed to be a relay output so that the light and buzzer can be remote.

Hi Bob, I have it sprayed at Mac Marine in Pittwater.
For me it is important to not have too much buildup. Spraying provides a good even thin coat.

Anchor Windless Interlock with engine

I am using a 40 amp dc to dc which actually draws 50 amps from the alternator. Have charged for hours.

At 50 amps the alternator gets to 65C at 95 amps it was getting to 105C

I have linked the house battery to the DC 40 amp charger. It works well with the start battery supplying the current of 15amps and the alternator the other 25amps at idle.
