    Biography
    Learned to sail in college in 1985 thru SDSU's Mission Bay Aquatic Center (sailed Lasers, Holder 14's, Hobie Cats, J-24). Got the sailing bug bad !

    Chased money and a job to Los Angeles then to Little Rock, AR (lake sailing on Lake Maumelle -have to use what's available), now back in San Diego since 2008 and took the opportunity to teach my 2 son's to sail (now, they have the bug!).

    Joined Convair Sailing Club in 2010 (shameless plug, it's the best deal in SoCal !), and am one of their sailing instructors.

    Have US Sailing certifications up to bareboat, as well as coastal navigation. Looking to improve my sailing and navigation skills by progressively going further up / down the coast and especially offshore. Best trip I ever had was San Diego to Ensenada, MX and back. Might have a chance to sail the Florida Keys, or over to Bahama's in a year or so and looking longingly for relations with Cuba to improve to make a trip down there.

    Willing to help people deliver boats up / down the coast, if the opportunity is right, and boat is sound.

    Seriously excited about recent announcement that OpenCPN is usable on Android tablet !
