    Biography
About me…. Hmmm lets see…I turn 50 this month, (holy S&*T). I have been on, in or under the water more often than not. I joined the US Navy at 17 and was trained as a Marine Diesel Tech and assigned to A Special Boat Unit ( the guys who operate in concert with the S.E.A.L.s) where in addition to being the youngest to qualify as a Chief Engineer I also learned Navigation, Rules of the Road, Radar Operation, plotting, loading, planning, transport. Over 8 years, I qualified as a boat captain as well as chief engineer on various boats, I deployed to many places around the world, including trips to the About me…. Hmmm lets see…I turn 50 this month, (holy S&*T). I have been on, in or under the water more often than not. I joined the US Navy at 17 and was trained as a Marine Diesel mechanic. I have traveled to 34 countries thus far in my life, and probably the same number of states.

So, I am pretty good to have around in case of an emergency or injury. I have been a Brick Mason, an Office Manager, owned a computer repair company, went to culinary school, and worked as a line cook.

In 2017, after falling and breaking some ribs, during the subsequent visit to the ER, a tumor was found on a scan, blah blah blah, treatment, surgeries , re-learing my own body… I am still here!

Since I can remember, throughout all of my life, a vision of sailing the worlds oceans on my boat. The peace, the serenity, the challenge, the adventure, has been the daydream the never waned. So, to that end I recently purchased a lived on but severely neglected 1976 Scheel 45. It need a lot of work, but is such a rare and well built boat, that even at 45 yeas old, she still has a lot of life left in her. I intend to spend the next couple of years on a complete refit, stem to stern, in order to prepare her for a life at sea for me and my wife.
