I am new to an ICOM M803 and wondering if you have figured out how to connect your programming cable. I am not finding anything on the internet to help with the newer radio, even though it has been out for about 4 years. I am unable to find a copy of the programming software and did not want to purchase the cable till I confirmed it works. I also see the square "USB B" Maintenance connection on the back and the cable ICOM says is proper, as you say, has a 3.5mm straight jack. If you get the software to work, any chance you can share it or let me know how to find a copy?
