Where about to launch our new build Schionning 52 and looking at insurance. Pantaenius have come back with an offer which includes the Anchor warranty clause. Basically no cover for unattended anchor drag between dusk & dawn or due to severe weather event. Curious if you managed to get any further relief on this clause ?

We will be full time cruisers so get the insurers angst regarding unattended anchor drag incidents.

Ahoy there.
We have Crowther 54 MkIV - based on Crowther 50 design. We ( my wife and I) had a monohull over 10 years and cruised Aus east coast and purchased this Crowther design earlier this year (March).
I would be keen to hear about the performance of Crowther 50? We are still learning how to sail her - tacking seems to be close to impossible manouver. Going 7-8 knots with 70 degree apparent and we find ourselves not turning through the wind. Our Paws is aluminium cat, displacement around 18t.
Keen to learn more- we are going to retire on Paws within next few years.We are based on Pittwater, Sydney.
