What worked for me was to use a floor jack under the front of the keep and unbolt it. Then lower it with the jack and remove the jack, next lower the aft enw using the winch this keeps it under control. Getting the boat off the trailer I used a stack of a pallets under the transum then lifted the forward end of the boat off the trailer.
