Im not even sure what kind of chemistry the Tesla batteries are using , so I have no idea about charging them or there parameters would be . Looks like you are on your own with that setup , learning curves are so much fun.
Im not sure what you mean be corrosion? Please tell my your concerns on that.
As for an inverter , i can help you with that . I have a Vanner Brutus 2400 watt , it will start a dead horse. It has 90 amp surge , into 120 volts , that just over 10000 watts! Make sure you use big short cables to the inverter.
I looked and owned many inverters and find your best bet is an american built Vanner , they are built for the military and trucks and are simple but bullet prove .
