    Biography
    Captain Kev inherited his love of all things nautical from his Uncle Edward in Glasgow, Scotland. Many hours were spent learning about the care of wooden boats, diesel engine maintenance, boat handling, coastal navigation and sailing. The Rosalie was a lifeboat from the Queen Mary; purchased by Uncle Edward during World War II when she was being refitted. From the Rosalie, Captain Kev and Uncle Edward watched the slow progression as the QE2 was being built. Trips along the Firth of Clyde provided wonderful opportunities to apply the newly acquired knowledge. Sailing on the Irish Sea, Captain Kev learned to respect the power of wind and wave.
