My Apologies for not staying in touch,,,its been some kinda hell getting rid of years of landlubber accumulation and the mind F**k which goes along with it.
And then i get refused at the border when i was trying to get down to San Fran to get my boat.
anyhow,,,,how did it go with your boat shopping??

Hi Keith - I got your voicemail, but no phone number to return it. Give me a call again and I promise to answer, or else let me know how to get hold of you. Cheers, Scott

An AB resident can buy a boat in BC but take possesion in US waters and then pay no taxes. Import a boat and you'll have to pay GST at the border. When you register the boat you have to make the sales paperwork is in order though. Record the lat/long where you take possesion for one thing and be sure of thre title.
