I think there are more boats in Seward, but Homer is not bad. The Homer Yacht Club are a good bunch of people that try to keep the sailing lively. We do yacht races on a regular basis, nothing serious. Just for laughs. K-bay is protected from the swells of the ocean and sometimes the wind is a little lite.
