The other skip is a French citizen finishing up some work in Dubai. He is available in 2-3 weeks. We agreed that we would be willing to deliver her back to you for traveling and maintenance expenses.

We are both middle-aged professionals (Canadian Electrical Engineer/Business Development, Finance Manager/Pilot). Both of us are very responsible, reliable, and competent sailors. Both of us are STCW 2010 certified with ENG1 medicals as well. We are currently reviewing insurance options but will be insured and will submit evidence of insurance before setting foot on your vessel.

We would be happy to sail her safely home to you. Let me know if that interests you. If you have a reliable email I can send you documents and scans of our credentials.

    Have a nice day,

    -Warren Caldwell

    Hi,

    My name is Warren Caldwell.

I recently completed RYA certification in Malaysia (Langkawi Sailing School). I noticed Icicle 1 forsale in the RLYC while sailing in and out of the RLYC. It's not often I see our Canadian flag in this part of the world let alone one that is forsale

At the moment, myself and another RYA certified Coastal Skip are looking for delivery opportunities to build up some nautical miles to get our unlimited RYA Offshore/Ocean certifications. We do have plans for a sailing charter business later this year but our sailing vessel is unavailable till the fall. So from now till then we are available for deliveries.

I remembered your vessel for sale and wondered if you need a delivery crew to take to another home or perhaps back to Canada. I'll be upfront - it would be a great stroke of luck for me to sail back to Canada rather than fly. I'm returning to Canada for the summer anyway.
