Vented battery box in aft cabin bilge
Locating heavy items in multihulls is always a challenge. Having made a decision to relocate my L16 battery house bank from the cockpit lockers above the wing decks of my 40' Searunner tri, I faced the challenge of creating a secure, well ventilated storage area in close proximity to the planned MagnaSine inverter/charger. This is a series of sequence photos showing the stages of construction.

View from aft cabin companionway showing bilge and adjacent chaos. Batteries are easily positioned with the halyard after the box is installed.
