The areas next Porto Alegre is not so pleasure to sail...too much south. You should try to come to Rio de Janeiro and stay for while... there is a lot of beautiful places here, at Baia da ILha Grande, or Paraty. Calm and warm waters! And them, to travel south by plane. You know, Brazil is a very very large country...
