I also live in NYC and am considering a used 450 or 440.
One of my concerns is how well they'll sail in what can occasionally be light winds, or upwind on the hudson and long island sound.
Would you mind sharing your thoughts on this please? Did you use a code zero, gennaker, etc.? Do you have the folding props?
Just trying to get a sense of how often I will be able to use the sails
Have you been happy with your boat in NYC?
I dock my current boat in chelsea piers, where do you dock yours?
