    Hi
First we sanded and then masked up and painted the teak with Colean polyurethane varnish. Then we masked up and painted a thin black line with 2 pack polyurethane on the fibreglass deck
We ground all damage between the teak and deck out with a dremel and round burr creating a small u shaped groove. We then masked up an filled with black polyurethane sealant smoothing it into a neat radius, slightly covering the very edge of both the teak and the paint. We then pulled the tape off when it was just right, not too wet not too dry.
Huge and fussy job with a perfect result.
    Cheers

Hi there. You have a beautiful boat, and clearly know how to take care of her based on your comments. I was on a thread about anchor lockers and you posted a photo and something caught my eye. You have a dark black strip of something between your toe rail and the deck. I also have a teak toerail, and fiberglass deck. But there's nothing sealing it, so I'm getting minor intrusion.

Is that black stuff sealant? Paint? I was curious if you could give me some ideas how to seal that tiny gap. Thank you so much!
