That sounds like a plan to me. There are some great spots up this way to spend a week end on the anchor.

Between wife, family and work, I haven't had much time to spend on the water. I have spent a couple of nights out on her for dinner and drinks, but that's about it. She was a project when we got her and we have slowly been spending time doing just that. I believe she will be ready this season to sail up by Waterside and venture our way up further north for a weekend or so. Maybe we could set up a plan for this summer. My buddy lives in Poqouson also.

Sounds like a hair raising but fun trip. Good luck finishing the trip off, and let me know how it ends up. I see you are right around the corner in VA BCH. Ever bring your boat up this way?

    Hey Walt,
I just saw your picture from Poquoson and thought I would share this story with you.
I was the Helmsman for a 41' Morgan trip coming from Cambridge MD to Poquoson here about 4 weeks back. We caught a pretty rough storm making our way down to the Potomac River around 9:30 at night and it wasn't pretty. Another night sailor running without lights almost tagged our starboard side as we were cutting through some 5' to 6' waves. Needless to say..... the vessel didn't make back to Poquoson. We are going to try bringing her the rest of the way home in a few weeks once all of the snow storms have calmed down just a bit.
