    Hey Sailorgirl,
There are many anchorages on Santa Cruz Island. Can alway's catch your favorite fish for dinner[ thats the daily chore for the BBQ]. Alway's warm, not hot but nice. The air is generally 10-15kns. Getting bored? just pull the anchor and head to Avalon or Cat Harbor on Catalina. Wanna dance, go to Ventura or Channel Islands harbor to hit one of the night clubs. Naaa, no fun at all.....I don't much care to sail on Klamath Lake, you can see across it. My brother lives right on the lake on Lakeshore Drive. He must love BUGS.....I have been looking for a Haida 26 for 20 yrs. A great boat that was designed to sail the North Coast. Many have sailed to Hawii & Australia & beyond. Just ordered new sails from North Sails in Portland.
Tell me more about your sailing experience. Can youy navigate offshore, plott, and actualy know where your at?
Hey please reply, at last a woman that will talk about sailing. Good for you. Michael

    Hello,
I have sailed in Klamath falls and raced in the 4th of july regatta. Even a big knockdown coming back from Rocky point once. Bent spinnaker pole, torn main and bruised backside.
Whats it like sailing in the Channel Islands?

Hey sailor girl, want a candy bar?? HaHa. I live in Klamath Falls when not on the boat. I sail out of Coos Bay & try to spend the winters in the Channel Islands. Beats snow, but I'm stuck here this winter. It would be nice to talk about sailing in warm places. Michael
