One side of the boat was wet sanded using 800, 1500, and 2000 grit sand paper in succession. No buffing was done. All the shine was brought out by wet sanding. Minor chips in the gel coat have also been repaired using Evercoat Gel Coat Repair kit and also wet sanded to be smooth and flush with the hull.
