    Hi Ka'imi,

I am so sorry, but I am just now seeing this message almost a year after you sent it! Oddly enough, I only found this message while looking for how to write a new post. This system is not super intuitive.

Anyway, I have now sailed the Baja Haha route, whereas this time last year, I had not. Instead of sailing with the rally, we did it with a crew of four on our Hunter Legend 37 and a buddy boat (Island Packet 32) with us for safety and companionship.

I can't tell you if you and your boat are prepared for the voyage, but in addition to those two variables, I would add weather. In my experience, those three criteria all have to match up to make or break your passage.

    Fair winds!

    Hi Marrigoround!

My fiancé and I are contemplating sailing our Hunter 25.5 down to Cabo for the Haha. This is contingent on whether or not we are accepted as crew on some larger boats we applied for. We are new-ish to sailing, but are up for a challenge/adventure. Have you sailed the route before? Are you sailing solo?

    Regards,
    Ka`imi (islandrose808)
