Thanks for your compliment on my boat. I'm still not used to how this forum works and am also still in the middle of a move so I can BE with my boat, but I certainly have fallen in love with her. Hopefully, I will be out on her by the end of the month and learning her systems and ins and outs.

I just looked at your pictures re: new cushion and see that you have a Mac PowerBook on board. Do you do any navigation with that and, if so, what program do you use? That is my platform of choice and I wonder if it will interface with my chart plotter or will I need to buy a cheap PC to do that.

    Wishing you happy sailing.

Just saw your comment on my profile, sorry for the long delay. I dont log on too much these days. Drop a line and tell me about your Willard please! Plus all the photos you want to exchange -- you can never learn too much about these old boats!

Good evening. I hope you do not mind me contacting you blindly, but my name is Alan Welch and I am in the process of buying a Willard 8-T cutter and just wanted to meet another owner. I will be taking possession of Quiet Passage in Lottsburg, Va and sailing her back to Bellhaven, NC next month. I just wanted to say hello and find someone I could talk with about the boat.

    Cheers,

    Alan
