Thanks for your note, Kjetil. You are living well indeed This was also my movie night, but I watched Trevor Noah: Son of Patricia on Netflix. He is an amazing standup comedian -- so funny and expressive -- but shockingly full of stories about racism that he's faced since a small boy. Very conflicting emotions for me to laugh about racism and hatred.

Although I don't agree with why that boy felt compelled to go to that island, I feel badly for the people who loved him. I would be horrified to know if they were to read what some of us have written here. As you said in your post, one might hope we are all better than that...

Thank you gamayun for the kind and sensible words! Didn’t mean to act as a moral police here, just wanted us all to stop for a second, so we could get back to being kind and civilized.

Well, I feel privileged to go sailing in the middle of office hours. Almost no wind at all, barely enough for my asymmetric not to collapse. Couldn’t care less. Caught a small cod, so in an hour or so it’s movie night and fish soup. Reminds me why my boat is called bliss. Take care!
