At a recent IEP at my son's school, we met his speech pathologist in addition to most of the other high-ups of the school and district representatives.. We discussed the possibility of cruising at the meeting and they were horrified, all except for the speech pathologist. After waiting out all of the other's objections she said, with a speech impediment, that her parents had taken her cruising from 4-7 years old. She said that they were the best days of her life and that she hoped to give her own children the same wonderful gift some day.

Yep. Everything I've heard or read points out that cruising kids are more stable, productive and adaptable then kids who don't.
