anybody cruising with teens?

Hi, we will go cruising with our two boys, 13 and 15. Looking for similar boats in the Carribean. We will leave FL beginning of June, start to head ( Bahamas) and then South to the Southern Carribean ( ABC islands for the rest of the summer). Any other families going the same route?
Would be great to hear from you!

Hi Seajoy:

Sounds like a great trip for the kids. I am concerned about the timing though. Isn't that hurricane season?

Have you charted the sailing distance from S. Fla to the ABCs?
I think you may find that you'll be spending (most of?) the summer (hurricane season) cruising South; unless you're contemplating an express delivery.

Seajoy, beginning in September my family will be joining me Grenada to begin our cruise. I have 2 boys 14 and 16. Our game plan is to move around this southern lattitude until the end of hurricane season than take our time moving north. Would enjoy hearing more about what you're doing........Ed

Ed,
sounds like our plans are similar and our boys would definetely look forward to meeting your boys. Do you have an email address where we can keep in touch?

I do but would rather not give it here and while I'm sure there is a way for you to get through this site I don't know how to do it. Maybe someone can help.
