Having problem with an old eletrolux propane stove - on my 1983 beneteau.
Stove has 2 burners on top with oven
The top burners will light but will go out and not stay lite.
suggestions..
Any one know where to get hold of a manual.
Eletrolux said the manual is not available.

Re: Propane Stove burners

I had a similar problem with our Force 10 stove. It turned out to be the thermocouples (they keep propane from flowing if there's no flame). I was able to buy new ones from Downwind Marine but I have no idea if they stock the ones for an Electrolux or if the ones for the Force 10 would fit.

Fair winds and calm seas.

Re: Propane Stove burners

makes sense.
when I push the knob in the gas flows and the burner light.
after it heats up, I can release the knob and stays lite for a while.
after some time ,10-15 seconds the flame sputters out , but this followed by gas hisses out .
Also if I to light the second burner, the other burner will go it out.
Does the thermal coupler stop flow immediately when the flame goes out?
